Recycling protocols

Centexbel has drawn up systematic recycling protocols for eg HDPE bottles, LDPE and PP films, textiles,…. The recyclability, open and closed cycle, of various multilayer materials and the influence of, for example, sputtered layers, inks, coatings,… was investigated. In addition, Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE) collaborated with Centexbel – VKC to perform the recyclability tests according to the published Recyclass protocol.
