The objectives of this TETRA project are:
Overview of recent bioplastic market in function of the applications of bio-material (focus on compostable bioplastics).
Determining performance through experimental work:
- Seal performance in function of sealing technology with leak tightness
- Gas permeability to various gases (MAP packaging)
- Mechanical properties: tensile strength, puncture and resistance.
Analysis of implementation activities of bioplastics on industrial packaging lines through case studies
Clustering of different bioplastics according to functionality in the industry guideline.
